I Could Give the Novel Another Title ?

If i could give the novel another title i would call it Holden in a world of phonies as i think that it is pretty accurate to the story since holden constantly talk about how most people are phonies in many different ways

I could only keep one scene of the novel ?

If i could only keep one scene in the novel i would keep the phone booth scene where drunk holden calls sally as it is one of my favorite scenes in the novel because i find it very funny

I would put these songs: Le Pastie De La Bourgeoisie by Belle and sebastian ( because it is related to the date scene between holden and sally ), Here's to life by streetlight manifesto ( because it talks about James Castle commited sucide while holden was still at elkton hills ), If You Really Want To Hear About It by the Ataris ( because the title is a reference to the beggining of the novel where holden says "if you really wanna hear about it" ), Kid Cudi's “Pursuit of Happiness” ( because it's a song that i think holden would listen too since he tries to find happiness in the novel ) and finally Dope's There's nothing for me here ( because i think holden would listen to it as i think he'd relate to its lyrics )
